The art of face baking

The art of face baking

What is baking?

Baking is a makeup technique used by celebrities and makeup artists.

This technique can be used all skin types by applying a heavy amount of loose powder under the eyes and on the high points of the face such as the cheek bones, the bridge of the nose, the chin and the forhead.

Why face baking is essensial?

  • Prevent kohl from smudging.
  • Souk up the facial oils.
  • Prevent creasing in baked areas.
  • Maximising covering and longevity of the makeup.

How to bake you face like a pro?

  1. prep your skin: Ansuring your skin is well moisturised is vital to achieve a smooth and creaseless finish.
  2. Apply a liquid foundation: If you want to master the art of baking using a La fera 24H full coverage foundation is a must to minimise the risk of cakey-looking makeup.
  3. Apply Concealer: The top quality La fera camouflage liquid concealer is your best friend when it comes to masking imperfections such as dark circles. Selcet your concealer that is no more than 1-2 shades lighter than your foundation.
  4. Press the loose powder onto concealed areas: Dip a wet sponge into La fera baking powder and apply directly to concealed area. Let your powder topped concealer set for a few minutes ( this is the actual baking component of the entire process).
  5. Dust off any excess powder.
